Judy Leung - Artist / Educator

Judy is a Graphic Artist, Illustrator, Photographer, Photography Studio Manager, Animator and Educator.

She is now focusing on developing games and, creating Flash animations.  Judy pursued a Masters in Digital Media to enhance her management and design background for production management in games and animation.

 

Judy’s first industry project in the Masters of Digital Media program was a collaboration with Knowledge Kids Network. The interactive web page, created for preschoolers aged 2-6, enhanced the client’s website by showcasing animations and stories featuring the client’s characters. The project was developed in Flash to ensure consistency with the client’s current website. Judy’s role in the team was Project Coordinator, Storyboard Artist and Animator.

 

 Judy enjoys collaborative teamwork to find solutions and refine the scope of proposed projects. Her final industry project was a collaboration with East Side Games to redevelop an existing word game prototype. The challenge from this project was to make a word game that is easy to pick up as well as challenging. As Project Manager she organized the production schedule, used problem solving skills to identify the best option for the project schedule, defined the project backlog, assigned tasks, and communicated daily with client, advisor and team. Along with managing her team, Judy also acted as Graphic Artist, providing additional art assets for the game.
